Skiing in Kleinwalsertal

The Kleinwalsertal valley has something to offer every skier, from the professional to the leisure-minded skier, and skiing fun on over 128 km of slopes of all levels of difficulty is guaranteed. In addition to the comprehensive overall lift ticket, the "Skipass Kleinwalsertal-Oberstdorf,” which is valid for 48 lifts and cable cars, there are also tickets for individual ski areas. All new skiers are in good hands in our hotel's own ski and snowboard school.

Tobogganing

Attention speed demons, seven groomed toboggan runs await! Two of these tracks feature lift assistance and at least three are wonderfully suitable for families. Toboggans and sledges can be rented from our hotel ski rental.

Winter Walks

With over 50 km of cleared or groomed paths in the valley, a uniquely large network of winter hiking trails is at your disposal. Most of the paths are located in the valley and the side valleys up to 1400 m above sea level. The tour to the Schwarzwassertal valley (1,620 m), to the Söllereck mountain and the hiking trail circuit on the Gottesacker mountain at 2,000 m altitude are recommended for high-altitude adventures. The Gottesacker hiking trail circuit can be reached via two chair lifts.

Cross-country skiing

The Kleinwalsertal valley boasts five classic cross-country trails with a total length of 42 km at an altitude of 1050 to 1260 m. For skaters, a loop of about 5 km is prepared on the Steinbockloipe in the Bödmen area. Holders of the Kleinwalsertaler guest card don’t have to pay the cross-country ski trail fee! Cross-country skiing equipment can be rented from the ski hire shops. The trails are groomed daily. All cross-country ski trails can be accessed via the Walser bus - parking is subject to a charge.
